2 Bedroom Chalet with Allocated Parking

Mixed bag of good and bad which was a shame. Could be a very nice stay once issues are addressed. Positive: Real mixed bag of good & poor. On the positive side a brand new bathroom which was spotless & smelt fresh and not damp. Easy parking on site. Easy key access. Fully equipped chalet. Very responsive and excellent hosting team . They provided a new Fan on request for the heatwave which was a Godsend! They refunded the cleaning fee immediately on being informed of the issues & offered to send a cleaner over on being told of the issues. Some lovely views out back. Good shower. Decent pressure. Free view TV. Good WiFi. Good location for exploring the area. Nice quiet site tho crows around chalet are v noisy early. Negative: Cleaning left a lot to be desired as per comments below. gone off ice cream left in fridge. .Black mould (discovered at the end of my stay) growing in chalet is a serious health hazard. Chalet smelt overpowerfully musty & damp. Sofa and carpets need a good clean as looking tired & stained. Old fridge could do with replacing. Curtains sprayed with fabric freshener which is not good for allergies. Damp smell in chalet bad for my asthma. I thought it was from not being aired , but airing and opening all the doors only helped partially. On arrival I opened the very old fridge to put milk in & was hit by the smell of gone off food .and moild growing in the fridge. See pictures. It made me wretch. Ice cream had been left in tiny freezer section and gone off and leaked into rest of fridge in the heatwave. I had to clean it up & wash out all the glass. It was a horrible start. I was sneezing a lot and felt ill which I thought was due to the mould in the fridge id had to clear. I felt a bit ill for the duration of my stay. My friends left after the first night as they couldnt stand the smell, & but I stayed as I thought it would improve. When the chalet doors & windows were open it was much better but at night when closing them the smell was pervasive. I woke with a headache every morning. On the last morning of my stay I asked to extend as I was not feeling up to travelling. Thats when, looking for a dustpan & brush I came upon horrible shocking amount of black mould under the sink. That was the cause of the terrible musty smell. On gping home I had to wash all my clothes twice as they all smelt mouldy and damp after being in the wardrobes. Just awful. beware there is a rookery in the trees behind the chalet so bring ear plugs for sleeping.

Positive: Great views, spacious with everything you need Negative: Needs a sign up with Chalet numbers at the end of each row. There were maps on boards, but we didn't see them.

Positive: The property location is excellent and it was exactly the same as shown. We had a very nice stay here and would highly recommend it. Negative: Nothing
